Running Log 6/24/09
Distance: 2 miles

Location: parents' neighborhood
Comments: Pushing double stroller. Run felt good. No problems. Walked the hills.
I've decided to run a 5k. Just have to figure out which one.

House cleaning
...did not happen at all today. I decided, instead, to take the small window of rainless opportunity and plant my flowers today.
I had some creeping phlox that desperately needed planting. And my irises needed to be moved. Someone, who shall remain nameless (if you can consider calling him Hubster nameless), vented our new water heater right on top of said irises. As a result, the stalks didn't quite grow straight and tall as they normally would. They were all twisty, weak and practically laying on the ground.
I did cut the flowers to enjoy their prettiness indoors, but had to put them back out. They smelled like spoiled cake batter. Weird.
